When I happened to look over a stone wall I saw a single
splendid Barlia robertiana in full bloom
at the edge of a field not reached by the plough. That was in 2003. Another
exemplar I encountered in 2004
on La Mola and 2005 I discovered in a remote spot on the West coast 125 specimen
of every age
in a dense pine forest.
2008 then the most specataculary find of a plain white Barlia robertiana,
which
was destroyed 2009 by asphalting a small country lane.
